Good afternoon residents, This week has been another busy one on the beat, with a range of proactive policing activity helping to keep our community safe. ✅ Child Rescued from High-Rise Scaffolding
Whilst on patrol, I was alerted to a child who had managed to climb onto scaffolding attached to a high-rise building. The child was safely recovered and reunited with their family, preventing what could have been a very serious incident. ✅ Electric Vehicle Theft Offenders Identified
Following enquiries into the theft of an electrically powered vehicle, I was able to identify two individuals involved in the offence. The investigation continues as appropriate action is taken. ✅ Prolific Shoplifter Arrested
A prolific shoplifter was identified in connection with two separate thefts from local stores. The offender was located and arrested, helping to support local businesses and reduce repeat offending. ✅ Traffic Offence Report Issued
A Traffic Offence Report (TOR) was issued to a female driver who was observed using a mobile phone whilst driving. Using a mobile phone behind the wheel puts everyone at risk and enforcement action will continue where offences are identified. ✅ Wanted Male Arrested Whilst Cycling Patrol
Whilst conducting a police bicycle patrol, I recognised and located a male wanted by police. He was subsequently arrested and brought into custody. ✅ Drunk and Disorderly Arrest
A male was arrested for being drunk and disorderly after his behaviour caused concern and disruption within the community. ✅ Female Arrested for Being Drunk in Charge of Children
A female was arrested after being found drunk whilst responsible for the care of her children, ensuring appropriate safeguarding measures could be put in place. These results highlight the variety of incidents officers deal with daily, from safeguarding vulnerable people and protecting road users to tackling crime and locating wanted offenders.
